I often talk about the type of women I want. She has to be really smart, well educated, professional and highly motivated. She needs to be a little bit boughie … and have a highly respectable career. Lawyers and Business Women usually rank high on this list. This is the “extreme” version … but I often talk about my search for a black female professional similar to myself.
But … sometimes … every once in awhile … I yearn for a hood rat.
I don’t mean someone who just grew up in a rough area (my area wasn’t so hot myself) … or just someone who had a hard knock life … I mean an all out, neck snapping, didn’t finish high school, wants to start her own rap label, dated bout 4-5 drug dealers … hood rat. One that embodies every negative stereotype associated with my people.
I’ve told this too my female friend … it’s the quickest way I know to make them shudder.
I’ve told a couple of my male friends about this desire … they just remind me to make sure I bring my own condom (holes being poked in that magnum are a reality).
I don’t even have enough hood in me anymore to relate to this person … and she might not be able to indulge my fetish for intelligence … but there are a few things that make this mythical creature a fantasy of mine:
She would cut someone for me
Nice to know I got a girl who is ready to fight any chic whose ass needs cutting.
Olive Garden is impressive
She can get her them all you can eat breadsticks and will be throuroughly impressed by the free wine she’ll get while waiting for the table.
Constant Ego Stroke
A guy could get used to hearing “Your so smart” or “You speak so good” all the time.
She’ll be a freak
I don’t know why … but I’m convinced that hood rats will swallow, deep throat, and do all the kinds of stuff that is beneath their “professional” sisters.
So that’s it … the desire comes along every once in awhile.
And please forgive this fit of ignorance … lol. Don’t get all offended on me either … its a joke people!

SBM I must agree with some of your points like having your ego stroked, always being the man of the house (you got that professional money), and olive garden being first class but the good girl professionals can do that too. A large number of women are very PC in the work world but will rape that azz in the bedroom, plus she can handle her own bills if need be, she has to keep her hair and nails looking good because she has a real job. My attempt at being devils advocate, but the good girls can handle theirs too. But fighting for you, well that wont happen.

I HOPE you are not trying to wife this woman. You are cracking me up today… I HAD a thug fantasy but after trying to actually have a relationship with one on one occasion, the fantasy disintegrated.
Between the late nights visits, 3 am (cause he's "out" on the block) to the suspicions that this guy has merked a couple of people, I soon realized this was not the life for me.

As a brother that has been with a few hood rats I can tell you there are pros and cons. I wish I could take the education and class of the suburban or middle class girl and give it to the hood rat. I like hood rats because they are real. Point blank period. Some of the other women can be fake, spoiled, and bourgie. Not to say that there aren't fake, spoiled, etc. hood rats I just see it more prevalent amongst the women that aren't hood rats. One of the cons of dealing with hoodrats is that some of them embody the dysfunctional issues in the hood.

Thats is the biggest appeal of hoodrats. They are real and down to earth. I dont like the drama, block mentality, and dysfunction that comes with being with them.

I must say with all the ABW omorosa types I have gone on 1st dates with, I have had a good friendship with a hoodchick since last fall when we went out on a date. 3 kids, 3 dads so you know me as captain save a hoe cant actually stop trying to be superhero.

I have often said that I would contemplate a relationship with a gal from the latin immigrant area.
You look and they are always poor in that area with very little money but the men seem happy with their babies in the park and the moms seem happy with their poor downtrodden hard working men whom love them. reminds me of how black women USE to be.
I couldnt really wife up a hood sista who was gonna cut me, there is still going to be all kinds of animosity. But I think taking a latin immigrant or even Armenian/some other minority from a poor neighborhood it would work. as long as its a culture rich in family unity and religion.
