Another good ass week … I’m on a role
- So my last weekend was tiring as all hell. I had a conference over the weekend to go to in Virginia, but in addition to that I had a birthday party and a date … so it made getting to VA by 9 am that much harder on a Saturday and Sunday.
- Went to the club for a birthday party. It was full VIP as my friend had bought a room (who still does tables …). I went there thinking “I hate this club” and “that’s why I haven’t been there here in a year”. Man … from the second I got to bypass the line of 100 people, to the live band performance of Common, to the girl who put it on me for 1.5 hours straight … to the nice buzz I had going … the night was great. Ended up meeting a cute electrical engineer too.
- My date went well. I’m not gonna put all my business out there … but the girl just embodied a lot of the things I like in a woman. Her look was right up my alley … to the Obama t-shirt she was rocking. Since it was the first, I kept it light … but conversation was straight and she was cuter than I remembered.
- So … continuing the good weekend … at my conference designed for developers and hardcore programming nerds like myself … I manage to find a cute, young, West Indian girl with that oh so sexy accent. When I saw her I was so taken aback … so shocked … it took me another full day to compose myself and get the information. It was like finding a unicorn … you just look back like “you do exist!”
- That’s 3 good looks in a weekend. Obviously I don’t believe in super “multi-tasking” that ass … but just to know that they are out there … and here … in my city … does my heart well. I swear I forgot.
- I found out that I do love the club again … I just thought I was into lounges … time to get it.
- My old friend hit me up … he’s promoting again … time to get it.
- My friend from Philly is coming into town. Back in college he used to be the calm one … now he is in Law School and knows the ridiculous amount of gwap he will be pulling in … so the roles have changed. Looks like another fun arse weekend.
- I found out I can rent a room out in my place for the inauguration for an insane amount of money … stamp.
- I love my car now for some reason. I think it was the tints … but now I look at her and actually step back to appreciate her. I’m thinking about throwing a little more money at her to make me feel even better.
- I swear I’m smiling as I think back to this week and I just don’t know why. If I make it to church (I might be out of town and therefore have a valid reason … I’m no heathen) … I’m gonna make sure the Big Man gets his proper financial thanks.
- I’ve been cooking this week and cleaning my place. I feel like I’m accomplishing something.
- Finally got back to the gym … starting with cardio and then hitting the weights next week.
- Ok … I’m just gonna stop … because 8 pages of random happiness just gets tiring at some point … right.
- Oh … another big change. NO MORE DAILY POSTS! I just feel like I’m giving too much of my time and effort into the blog and not into making sure I accomplish my personal goals. Also, I swear I’ve put out a little bit of crap just trying to get something out everyday. So I’m planning to go back to every other day. Trust me … I’ll make up for it in quality.
- Also, as a result I am really looking for a partner. I’m willing to split my little revenue, but I need someone who not only can write (has to be at least as good as me … which ain’t saying much) and has to know something about wordpress.
Man … I’m still cheesing. But enough from me … let em know how ya feel …

You've been busy. Shoot I have a hard enough time keeping stuff posted on my two blogs so I won't even think about volunteering. lol
1) I had great conversations over the week with distant friends. I need to make it a habit to reach out to them and others on a regular, consistant bases.
2) Thought I would be working my PT this weekend. That didn't work out but, I look forward to my new hustle next week.
3) My professional career is looking blist…why does it taste bitter sweet?
4) I hate wishing my week away but I'm sooooooo glad it's Friday. No structured plans.

@ SBM..its all good. I made that my mission too errybody @zz is gonna get along real soon LOL..When I first started this job out of college..i had a work buddie who would always tell me that people are ALWAYS focused on self. When shyt blows up and you're involved people may think about it for like two minutes..and then its back to "me" again. You know?
besides you woulda had fun in our soul train line. I need to get my dam@n "punctuality" together next time I'll be early instead of tardy for the party.
What's VSB (is it a secret)? Yeah, I tend to go to the same places…won't lie, but that's cause I know I'm going to have fun…although I must say, I'm not a fan of the MEGA Club thing…

VSB is a blog. A couple of days ago Panama had a happy hour (1/3 of VSB). Nothing secret about it at all. They annouced it a week b4 it went down. It was at the old bohemian caverns now mahogany.
???not sure if its still called bohemian??? its a old spot tho..my mama told me stories about it in the 60s when she was hot mama.
Oh, I've been there. Downstairs it's the Caverns, in the middle it's called Mahogany, and the third level is LIV. I had a b-day party there…hmmm. OK
thats right..i never been in there LOL..thats rather embarrassing to admit LOL. Even right b4 Ustreet blew up, i always walked right past it. shame. its a nice spot.
@sbm there really wasnt much to do, i'm only 19 and the one party i heard about turned out being 21 and over (damn alphas) next week is gonna be poppin though i've been to tired to really go crazy lol
but when i come back to the dmv i hope to have crazy fun
SBM: It's call good. There is a certain level of anxiety when meeting people whom you've only seen through text and the occasional blog owner picture. My shallow ass was fixated on a young lady who had the cutest face and best lower half that I've seen in some time. Plus, would people want me to introduce myself as my gument or my screen name?

i work at a health care administrator as a PM and i can't wait until 1/1/09 when i can get these accounts off my plate and they have there benefits! i've had a headache for 2 days straight.
obama has had a positive impact on my road rage. almost got out the vehicle today to curse out the w chick that honked at me for no reason… heels were coming off!
slim's "so fly" came on and i felt so much better.
it's been a personally productive week, i'm making moves and doing my thing!

as a fine black man i can really say when it rains it pours. sistas are very attracted to you in droves when you are on a roll.
i havent had a woman even look at me (thats under the age of 40) since i lost my mojo. its like night and day now when i am in public.
cant run the same diet i was before, 3500 calories in protien a day just wont work when you arent earning $$. I have not been to the gym either. now i have lost 20lbs this month.
im glad someone is keepin it pimpin, because its just falling off a cliff over in jersey.
Well my week has not been as eventful as yours and it doesn't look like your life will be slowing down anytime soon either. To cheers to living it up!
