Mr. FAQs
There comes a point in a man’s life……naaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I’m just f’n with yall. First and foremost would like to thank SBM and Slim for giving me the opportunity to write along with them. If there’s every doubt that Black men aint ish, tell your homegirl to stop by here. Secondly want to thank the readership for reading and commenting and validating or negating my views, it was enjoyable.
Right now though, Mr. FAQs has to say, “see you later.” Its been real but just that time to focus on a couple of other things that life has brought my way. I won’t be too far though. I’ll still be lurking in the comments section like I was before and may even decide to say something every now and then.

- This was a decent week. This was the kick off week for Operation Ultrabeast. Made it to the gym twice this week by 630am. One time for a spin and core class, the other just to get my cardio and pump (weights) game up. Still got a few issues to address in my regimen and schedule, but things are looking positive.
- I just found out that one group in my company laid off 10 to 15 people last week. They did a good job keeping this on the low. That’s a little bit too close to home for me.
- I’m starting to realize how valuable my time is now that my life is starting to revolve around a schedule. I’ma start charging people for everything just because it cuts into my free or productive time. After all, time is money!
- Have a good weekend. I will be doing some proactive blogging. This stuff is starting to become a tad taxing even though I love it. I really feel like a rapper peddling CDs out my trunk.
SBM
- First and foremost I want to say that Mr. FAQs will be missed. There is no hard feelings and no love lost. He helped bring another point of view to this site, has made us all laugh and think with his posts, and being fellow Phrat … gonna miss him. I know he has a lot going on behind the scenes, so I hope it all works out … and don’t be a stranger … your family now.
- As a result of the staff shrinking, there might be an opportunity for others who are interested. I am in the talks with some people, but I might try and go beyond just a 3 person show (notice how I didn’t say man … yes … SBM is considering some female flavor to the site). If your interested in writing about sex, dating, and relationships, and you already are blogging, email me at sbm@singleblackmale.net.
- Now I am feening to buy a new motorcycle. Its starting to get warm and I can’t wait to ride my baby on a regular basis and I’m just thinking that my crrent “girl” isn’t fast enough. But then there is the decision of which bike to get as a replacement and then find a new home for my … baby. I think I want a Yamaha R6 … but I feel like I deserve a 750 … but I can’t stand Gixxers. *sigh*.
- I have got to stop buying stuff. I feel like I’m always researching or feening over something new. I just got my Kindle 2, and now I’m looking for a motorcycle. And don’t forget my new car hang up.
- My new Kindle has greatly increased the amount I read. I think I’m officially hooked on reading. I might sell my 46″ tv (then I could get the new bike … huh) since I really don’t watch it too much anymore. Poor TV.
- On a sidenote … I still got a Wii I need to sell. Any takers?
- I also must say … I am planning to get rid of the Friday rants and hopefully get real content 5 days a week. If my dream of writers work out, it will be great. I think ya’ll have heard me b* and moan for long enough.

Rants:
1. If this weather doesn't reach a steady pace, I'm gonna go nuts like Martin Lawrence.
2. I will not be in any more weddings after this year. DON'T ASK.
3. My theatre teacher seems to hold me "up to a higher standard." Why? Because I'm the only black student? I've never acted before in my life and I suck.

I feel you on that though. I got a good tax return this year and the first thing I thought of was "damn, I could buy a new bike." But the sad thing is that the weather here isn't nice long enough to ride my current one.

@ Slim: You better work! I think this is the first week in two months I haven't made it to the gym… I feel it too, gonna start a lifting class tomorrow though, make it more interesting, YEAH!
@ SBM: I saw a nice bike yesterday and my desire to get one came back… been craving for a ride for a while now, TX has a lot of good weather days. And I like the rants.
My rants….
1. Guy formally known as dude is no more… he feels that he can't give me what I want right, I'm tired of discussing why that's so not true, so we are just friends now. but his tail came over last night to have a drink questioning his decision. whatever dude…
2. I've met someone online, he's hella cute and has that deep radio voice. Seems like a really cool outgoing dude, but I feel my wall going up already… I fall hard and I let that wall down for dude, not making that mistake again.
3. I can't find my focus, what I want to concentrate on as my business. Totally frustrated with getting my site setup, haven't created a handbag that I adore, and haven't started on my grant writing for my store… my just take that online… need to focus.
4. Working from home today but really have some things to complete.
5. Slacking on my MBA studies… 2 weeks left on this class then 1 more class to go!
1. My Piscean intuition is so strong that my recent dating prospect just failed a very simple proximity test. So…it's back to the grind and drawing board again.
2. I'm happy that I'm able to set aside time to practice on my 1s & 2s nightly and feel a little more comfortable. Stay tuned…I'm hoping to have some mixes out there in the world.
3. This weather is the friggin pits. It's supposed to be nice this weekend but wow…why a sh*tty Friday to start it off?
4. I need to leave the country…soon.
@reign: Sorry dude made a disappearance. I have this feeling that its only temporary but we'll see. He seemed like a good guy trying to figure some things out, and being there myself I can't fault him too bad.
@Shawn: Gixxers have to be the Honda Civic of the bike world … everyone has them and they look horrible. Who thought that single headlight looked good. We should go riding though when it warms up? Busy this weekend?
@Nicki: Black folks are naturally animated … so you should be killing them in that class. I want to see a demo tape asap.

I know if I do get a second bike, I'm leaning more towards a cruiser. The DMV isn't a good place for my craving for speed.
Ahhhh, I remember when this site was changed by Friday Rants…it seems like yesterday when we all over here laughing, joking and wasting valuable company dollars and time.

Rant time:
- I had jury duty today. Getting there was a female dog. Surprisingly, not one panel was called and they let us go about an hour and a half after lunch. I 'preciated that. Made my day even.
- The cafeteria cooks at the courthouse are special!
- I'm gonna quit Chicago in a minute. Something about snow on Monday?
- Got a couple days off next week. Spending time with my lovely niece during her spring break. Aw.
- Set the appointment for the new hairdo. I'm excited.
