Men condone it and sometimes even encourage it. Women used to look at cheating as being taboo and if they did it then they were considered a slut, hoe, or whore. But it seems in this day and age that cheating is a way of life and dare I say even becoming acceptable. Shaq, Tiger, Eliot Spitzer, A.Rod have all cheated and everytime we hear about it we're not even shocked. It's like society expects it. Overall, I think that when it comes to relationships you just have to stand back in the sidelines and mind your own business. Everyone knows that cheating is wrong therefore I don't have to give advice to a friend who may be cheating. We all know what's at stake when we put ourselves in comprimising situations. Karma is a b*tch and eventually it all comes to you. However, I do believe that when someone cheats and the other person finds out it changes them and often leads that person to mistrust in their next relationship. "Birds of a feather flock together" I have had to move on from friends for this reason. Also true friends want the best for each other and encourage each to grow and that means telling the truth even when it hurts. I refuse to condone cheating even if it is my best friend regardless whether male or female. What if she is at home with the kids all day/night, and he's at the "gym" or some other nonsense. She doesn't know until she KNOWS. Many women don't KNOW until they are told, or the other woman contacts them. Some women second guess their gut. People should tell more often. I did the dummy before by not knowing, and when I found out, I was shocked and devestated. Later to find out all of his co-workers had met her and they all knew I was pregnant at the time! You need to make a decision because you are just causing your own headaches and now you stealing what could hae been my pleasure!
