SBM Hosts Screening for ‘The Three Way’ at New Voices in Black Cinema Film Festival

When a young woman decides to surprise her boyfriend by coming home early, she discovers evidence that he may be having an affair. Determined to get to the bottom of it, she sets up an ambush only to discover an unexpected visitor. Accusations escalate over the course of a single evening until they’re forced to reveal their secrets and confront their own lies in this explosive relationship drama.

Julian Renner’s award winning film, The Three Way explores the foundation of a relationship teetering on destruction over the course of a single day. It deals with issues present in many relationships- from trust and fidelity- to love and necessity. It is at times hilarious, at times uncomfortable and still at times, poignant.

The Act Now Foundation (www.actnowproduction.org) is hosting its annual New Voices in Black Cinema Film Festival and tonight I’ll be moderating a screening of The Three Way and a discussion with the cast afterward. Would love it if the SBM Fam came out and supported.

The event begins tonight at 9pm at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). You can visit the below for more details: http://www.bam.org/view.aspx?pid=3995
