9. Lala Bonilla
We used to sit around arguing about who looked better Lala from He Got Game or shorty from the ‘How’s It Goin’ Down’ music video in the Sergio’s for hours. I always stuck with Lala for one reason and one reason only, if you’ve ever seen that scene on the ferris wheel… you know what I’m talking about.
10. Gina Payne
Jane Touissant, Sydney, Gina… whatever you want to call her, just call her. This woman was my everything growing up as a shorty. I couldn’t get enough. I used to sneak and watch Martin when my mother told me not to, but I had to see my Gina. Who remembers the ‘Gina, give me one more chance’ episode?
Those are my top ten, I feel like most Black men loved these women too. I’d like to hear your thoughts on these ten and let me know if I missed anyone.
Thank God it’s Friday!

53. Lisa Wilkes
The Fresh Prince almost married this girl. Nia Long came on the TV screen and I swear she put that short hair cut with the bow legs on the map. I mean, Halle made it a hot line, but Nia made it a hot song.
You can learn a lot from Jackie. She showed up and reminded Will of who he was before he became the Fresh Prince. Every superhero needs that in his life. For me, this was the first time I was seeing the model Tyra Banks on the TV screen, I was like, “wow…”
