SBM is looking for new contributors to bring a fresh spin to some of our favorite topics: dating, relationships, and pop culture. If you’re an aspiring or established writer trying to get your name and work in front of thousands of people across the world, this opportunity is for you.
We ARE NOT looking for self-proclaimed relationship experts hoping to cash in on insecurity and youth. Take that ish back to twitter and your momma’s basement, where you can distribute demotivational materials at-will.
For those that don’t fall in that category…
If you’re capable of writing candidly, casually, and passionately, and can string together witty sentences without taking a trip to typo city, we want to hear from you. If you can express yourself without all the adverbs, even better.
Are you only looking for male contributors?
No. Some of our most popular articles have come from our anatomical counterparts.
But your tagline says urban male perspective…
Indeed. Because that’s what we’ve offered since 2007 and will continue to provide. Diversity ain’t never hurt nobody…except a white girl in Texas.
What should I include in my pitch?
- Website (Required. No website. No write.)
- Post Title
- Post Summary (What the article is about…preferably in bullet point form)
- Time needed to complete full article if accepted.
- Whether you’re looking to write regularly or just once. Either is fine.
Where do I send the pitch?
Guest post pitches should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note: Submitting a guest post pitch or full article does not guarantee acceptance. (It also does not guarantee an immediate response.)
Will you need my Paypal?
Nope. What we can tell you is that you’ll receive a healthy amount of exposure and the ability to tell people you’ve written for an award-winning and internationally recognized website.
Regular Guest Contributors (RGCs) or weekly writers will be selected at our discretion based on article performance, consistency, and dependability. Since we aren’t providing monetary compensation, RGCs will have access to a team of experienced writers and entrepreneurs. RGCs may also receive other perks from time to time.
What if I have questions?
Questions regarding guest submissions can also be directed to email@example.com.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you. And if not you, be sure to pass this along to that person you know should be on a bigger platform. It’d be dope to (potentially) feature their work.
